Zang noted that today, journalists from the mainstream media outlets across the SCO member states will together witness the achievements of the three-year construction of the SCO Demonstration Base for Agricultural Technology Exchange and Training and appreciate its unique charm. He further remarked that this event will, through the unique perspectives of foreign media friends from SCO member states, show the world a colorful and thriving hub of agricultural technology.

He Ling noted that journalists from SCO member states are invited to this online event to learn about the development of modern agriculture in Yangling and the construction achievements of the SCO Demonstration Base for Agricultural Technology Exchange and Training in an all-round and three-dimensional way. She further noted that the event is intended to vigorously promote the practical measures taken by Yangling to enhance agricultural connectivity and expand international agricultural cooperation, as well as boost exchanges and cooperation among SCO member states in modern agriculture, food production, trade, investment and other areas, spread Yangling's voices and tell the SCO's stories well.

1997年7月，杨凌农业高新技术产业示范区由国务院批准正式列入国家级高新技术产业示范区序列，是农业行业领域第一个国家高新区。

In July 1997, approved by the State Council, Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone was listed among the national-level high-tech industrial demonstration zones, becoming the first national agricultural high-tech zone.
